I’m Ryan, the founder of Lead Head Lures. I build these lures with my own hands, guided by equal parts instinct, obsession, and style. What started as a side hustle turned into a full-blown mission: to design fishing lures that actually work — not just look pretty on a shelf.
I believe the best gear isn’t churned out by corporations — it’s forged by people who live the lifestyle. I’m a father, a husband, a believer in truth over trends, and a builder at heart. My lures are born from trial, error, freezing hands, long casts, and the kind of quiet thinking that only happens out on the water. Every product I design is tested in real-world conditions — by me, by other hardcore anglers, and by weekend warriors who just want to get their kid on the board.
I don’t chase gimmicks or mass production. I chase results. Built for Fishermen. Not Boardrooms.
Lead Head Lures is proudly Canadian. We operate with tight margins, sharp edges, and zero tolerance for fluff. You’re not getting mass-produced junk — you’re getting high-performance lures with thought, integrity, and a touch of madness behind them.
We also keep it local. I work directly with small bait and tackle shops because I believe in supporting the little guy — not feeding the Bezos machine. I want our gear on racks you can actually walk into, talk shop in, and support your community through.
I didn’t build this brand to sell plastic. I built it to connect — with nature, with other real-deal anglers, and with something deeper. Fishing isn’t just a hobby — it’s a lifestyle. The quiet, the chaos, the bite — all of it speaks. And when you're using something made with intention, you feel it.
